Thanks for stopping by my new website! As a director, I love my theatricality heightened, my characters emotionally grounded...and plays that brim over with big questions and generous spirit. I'm passionate about telling new stories, and telling old stories in a new way. I hope to share one with you soon.

Culture Project's Women Center Stage-this weekend! - 2011-03-01

an excerpt of SACRIFICE
by Kristin Palmer, directed by Sarah Rasmussen
Featuring: Kate Skinner, Shana Dowdeswell & Brent Doyle
SACRIFICE explores socio-political and environmental issues in the Midwest. Through the lens of a young woman who has recently been uprooted from an urban life to live at her grandmother’s dying farm place, the piece looks at the contemporary plight of agriculture in this nation– its history, its unsustainable present, and what directions we might go from here. Looking at the politics from a very human perspective, big environmental issues become deeply personal, vulnerable and viscerally felt.

Where: The Living Theatre
