Sarah’s mission at the Jungle is to create a wildly imaginative, inclusive space where we celebrate our shared humanity through stories – especially stories that embrace humor, music and innovative design. The Jungle is deeply rooted in its LynLake neighborhood, but contributes to the national field by commissioning and developing new work and creating innovative programs such as JungleWrites, our playwrighting mentorship program for teenage girls.
Since coming onboard in 2015, Sarah has made a commitment to gender parity in the roles at the Jungle. Her vision has been recognized by The Star Tribune (Best Artist runner-up in 2017, Best New Face in Theater in 2016) City Pages (Artist of the year in 2016) and MPLS. St. Paul Magazine (52 Reasons to Love the Twin Cities in 2017). Sarah was also named one of Minnesota Women's Press Changemakers in 2017.
